The Catskill Edition
Organizations that commit to diversity-equity-inclusion-accessibility (DEIA) without centering facilitation as the critical organizational practice will achieve little more than performative outcomes. The very idea of inclusion demands a facilitative approach. Of what vale are the ‘diverse’ voices around the table without the practices and behaviors necessary to animate and amplify those voices? How we listen, how we recognize, and how we synthesize matters, and matters a lot. Facilitation can’t be taught, but it can be learned, to be more intuitive, more flexible, more aware, more patient when required/more assertive when necessary. Learn the self-mastery requirements, play in the practice field, bolster your confidence as a facilitator.

This two-part six-hour intensive is taught by John McCann, recognized as one of the most accomplished and effective facilitators in the field. As one recent participant stated, ‘there’s simply no one better’.
